We want YOU !
Yes, we are still recruiting members to join our merry band of developers. If you're interested to join, feel free to answer a questionnaire and send it over to the email address found under my profile. We'll read every application carefully and if you're accepted, you will recieve an email sooner or later.
More specifically, we're looking for area designers, quest/storwriters and active, DMs. Currently we're not looking for scripters, but if you have something special in mind for the world that requires adding scripts (Maybe something for a DM event) then you can send such over and we'll take a look and see if it suits the world.
When sending an application, remember to include your forum name and your player name (The one you use to log into gamespy) so we know who you are on the forums and can contact you.
If you want to join the team as something else than as a DM, you don't need to send an application like the one below, but instead send an email with some general information about your experiences with NwN and what you would like to be a part of in the creation of ZS.
DM Questionnaire:
1. Anything you want to add before you answer the questions ?
2. Would you consider yourself a powergamer, roleplayer, or something in between, and why ?
3. A PC was killed during an event you were DMing and you weren't expecting this to happen as you had plans in store for the PC and his/her party. What is your course of action ?
4. You get a strong feeling a PC is exploiting the game engine or the server somehow, but you can't be sure. What is your solution ? Do you confront the PC about this ?
5. Two or more PCs have run into a shouting match on the server and the situation is getting worse. What will you do ?
6. A player has clearly not read the rules of the server and is doing something that is generally disallowed, but apologizes for his/her behavior after being asked about it. What will you do ?
7. A long-term player on the server dies because of a problem with lag/transitions/unprovoked PvP/bug. What will you do ?
8. You devise a cunning quest that should challenge a party. Somehow they brush aside all the encounters with ease and get to the treasure chamber. What will you do ?
9. On one of your DMing events, a PC gets killed and starts messaging you about it being unfair. His/her best pal agrees with him and they start asking you to revive the dead PC. What will you tell them ?
10. How much experience do you have with the DM client/DMing ? How well do you know your way around the NwN engine/toolset ?
11. Do you have knowledge on the survival horror concept that could help you get attuned with the world and lead better events ?
12a. An example of an event you'd run for a single player ?
12b. An example of an event you'd run for a small party of players ?
13. Is your passion in DMing sessions making the world more alive or helping shape the world just right for the players ? Would you be interested in creating interiors/exteriors, possibly as the settings for the events you've planned to run (Or something else like conversations, quests or storylines) or do you prefer live DMing sessions ?
