We've developed a completely new system for ZS and that is the subtly named 'Injury System'. You can now get temporarily or in the worst case scenario, *permanently* injured. These injuries vary from the simple wounds to the breaking of ribs and losing of limbs or teeth. This will be a feature that we hope will encourage roleplaying (Helps bring out more distinctive characteristics in a person) and make the gameplay more challenging and the profession of a healer more rewarding and diverse.
In addition to this we've revisited the companion AI and updated it to be in line with out standards. Also, our GUI has become something of a cross-breed between the DMFI and our original design. It's in effect a customization of something we found in the vault, suited to our needs.
Just as a progress report, the module size is nearing 370 MB (410 MB with custom music) and we're currently building interiors for all the various structures we have out there in the city streets and the zombie-infested wilderness. A sewers and a whole new district for the main city is also under construction. Although the city will be an important location, we're trying to make it more ambiguous to encourage you, the community, to explore the world.
We've been having some stepping stones on the way to creating a releasable version of the world, and will be having some more for the coming week at least, but a release will not only be probable, you can take it for granted. This one will ship came hell or high water.
