I just thought to ask people what they think is the most 'natural' (well, in a DnD sense) kind of zombie ? Are they short and tall or a fixed height, children, adults, fast or slow, deteriorated, moldy corpses, bloody, blood-shot-eyed or featuring empty eyesockets. What about their state of mind and their control over themselves, or their lack of control. Is there any kind of redemption for them or are they doomed for life ? Where do you think zombies came to become the cultural mishmash collection of fears in the new age society and how they correlate to/work when presented in a pure DnD setting...or a rather customized setting like ZS ?
I'd also like to use this opportunity to ask the community what you feel about using humanoid appearances (with different shades of green/grey) for the zombies in the world. Currently it would seem like there's only a small set of real undead creatures to use as templates (Obsidian has provided us with just five or so). I've heard many different view points here, some think it should just be the more nice-looking appearances while others say that we should utilize all kinds of appearances to bring more variety. Well, what do you think ?
