This is for you our dear future players (and me) to keep up with the current development of areas. We are nearing a phase in building the module where most of the exterior areas are complete. Some interiors are still pending, many more are being planned on. The wilderness of the PW has become a priority in terms of making it come alive using everything the engine has to offer. We try to make it all come together to form this surreal world where no place is truly safe from danger. Still there are some safe havens sprinkled around in the tradition of the earlier Zombie Survival modules; they aren't exactly safe, but we understand players need to catch a breather every once in a while SOMEWHERE. (If they need to go AFK for a phone call or any such activity..but why would you want to go anywhere? ) Currently the server consists of over 40 areas, four cities and we're going to work on the older areas some more to bring them up to date with our more recent work. It's time-consuming but nevertheless we'll try our best to get the PW running soon after New Year !

Now for some more information about areas. Yes, there has been development time put into them. A lot of time actually. We're nearing 20+ areas currently and trying to keep up with quality with some of the other PWs out there. It's a tough thing to do, and it isn't our primary focus, but you can count on that we won't look like legoland.
We have charted out a few key locations near where the characters will begin their fight for survival and are going from there. The setting will be grim and dark, but hardly all that many areas will be pitch-black. (When it gets too monotonous, it gets boring)

Most of the interiors for the main city are now done.
Work has begun on a desert map section that will probably span some 1-3 areas in whole complete with some hidden surprises!
New forest area is now finished with a ranger's hut and a place to catch fish. Still needs some lighting to make it look nice.
Added more herbs to be found in the wilderness.

Added three new interiors to the Docks district, restructured the tavern, fixed zombie spawns in some interiors. Now zombies will spawn immediately upon entering an area so you can't use advantage of the delay between zombie spawns to run through a difficult zone. Desert areas still need a lot of work put into them. Ruins in the forest are being built and planned by a few members of the devoted fanbase! A couple new islands are being planned to finally be able to have sailing in the world for those seafaring pirates out there.
