Well, in my opinion, 28 Days Later was a fantastic movie, but I can't help but think this sequel will be rather bland, and not just a repetitive zombie sequel. The name is silly enough, but still, I'd like to see what others think of this...

As far as zombie movie sequels go, the only ones I've so far really enjoyed were Evil Dead II and III. 28 Days later IMO was a great movie, although at times there was a lack of action. The ending was a major disappointment as well. They did some stuff right, but something was missing. The Chinese and Japanese have their own kind of zombie movies which I've found to be equally as exciting as the western counterparts...but that's a matter of taste. If you're into zombie flicks, I'd recommend you to broaden your horizons and look into them, you might be up for a surprise. Of 28 Weeks Later, we'll just have to see it first. It can't be worse than The Night of the Living Dead anyway.

not Seen 28 weeks later yet, seen the first. Wouldn't exactly call either a zombie film, least not a classic one, for the reason that non of the people are returned from the dead. The original I agree with Jaxe, missing something.
And what's wrong with Night of the living dead. It was a good film, not a 10 ten type film but a good film. As far as worse films go yeah theres worse films like return of the living dead part 2, and zombi 4. But having said that it all comes down to taste, as theres a lot that don't like land of the dead, which I personally think is not bad.

Ahh, I meant the 1990 remake which is just laughable. The original Night of the Living Dead was better.

Of all zombie movies, I personally prefer Shaun of the Dead, as it is a parody. And comical. Land of the Dead (if it is the one I'm thinking of) was strange, mainly because they were in a futuristic world that was still severely limited in the use of their weapons. Come on, Fireworks??? The dead are not to be distracted!
